This app is actually useless. You'll get data faster if you look at zillow or other bigger rental sites/apps since they get the data from there. This app is constantly wrong about many aspects of the homed you're looking for. You will never be able to simply apply in the app for a home, they'll always refund you and send you to another site You will never be able to tour a home when you schedule it. They'll cancel and tell you they don't have anyone available

No way to limit search to just properties listed by Sunroom (w/o MLS); cannot search for condos without searching for apartments; cannot search for pet-unfriendly properties only; cannot search for self-tour-only; the list view shows interior pictures of the kitchen (which all look the same) w/o the address; they req phone # promise not to spam only to give it to sales; all/most of their properties come with $200 app/admin fees, which is a TX-specific invention that they adopt happily — bad.

I would give this company 0 stars if I could. I applied with 3 other people. They want you to have a 550 credit score. I had 2 brand new renters who did not have that. They then asked for a cosigner. They were to have over 3 times the rent and a 650 credit score. It is impossible. We had the money but no credit. I would not recommend them ever.

I have been using the app for about 3 weeks, I am looking for a house to rent in Austin. I love being able to make an appointment anytime I want and the fact that they are almost inmediatelly. There are two major issues: 1. In android, when using the back button, it always closes the app itself, it does not go back. 2. When applying to a house, it should show the application status at least.

Horrible, I have a section 8 voucher which means I only need to make three times the portion of the rent that I pay out of pocket and I do!. But this company disqualified me because I don't make three times the actual full rental price. When section 8 is gonna pay the complete portion of what doesn't come out of my pocket then why disqualify me. You accept Section 8 as a form of payment; so why have an option to search for Section 8 rentals if you're not gonna accept the Section 8 clients!!

Super dissapointed and feel like i wasted alot of valuable money and time, forcing me to rent an apartment that didnt match what i was looking for due to time constrains. Loved being able to tour on my own time, initially staff was responsive. Put in 3 applications and dont even know if 1 of them was given to anyone - the first went well and I was as I was contacted by the property manager and unfortunately someone had beat me to the punch so i submitted two more. A week later someone from Sunroom contacted me about the first spot I didnt get, and asked if I wanted to submit apps for anywhere else -- weird, I already had known that news awhile and had also already submitted for others. These two apps also took days to change from "sunroom is putting together your file for submission to the landlord " to "submitted to the landlord" when the first one was within 24 hours. One app froze when I tried to process my submission and it seemed to be having issues after that, i dont know that it was ever submitted. A week went by, finally I was told that one of them had been filled already and asked if i was interested in another property they had nearby and I said yes! please! as time was running thin. Never was I contacted again about this property, which i was ready to lease on the spot. As for the 3rd application, the one that I dont think actually was submitted, I never heard anything from anyone. Not sunroom not the landlord, no one. I gave up on waiting and, with only 3 days left till my absolutely must be moved out by date, I submitted 3 apartment applications and took the first one who got back to me, even though its a bedroom short of what I wanted and in round rock insead of austin - but panic had set it. and im positive i would have found a house had i not put all my eggs in one basket with sunroom, and I wish i hadnt wasted a chunk of money on applications that may have been approved if submitted at all/submitted with more urgency.
