This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing HiPet on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

It's very buggy. Time just doesn't calibrate I have to set it to feed at 1am to feed at 6pm BST, I only found that out through looking at feed messages and seeing the time log. Language is poor, seriously just pay for a proper translation, need to improve that. The set up again wasn't straight forward, didn't recognize feeder in quick setup but feeder connected to router so had to install as connected device. If you can fix lots of these little issues it would be very good.

The schedule didn't work until I realised that the time had to setup for an hour behind so of you want to feed at 5pm, set it up for 4pm. Maybe something to do with BST time. Other than that it does what it says.

I can't understand the negative reviews on here - the app works fine. Great that I can keep an eye on my cat to see what she gets up to, whilst I'm not there. Feed scheduling works on time and live feed is great. The only thing that I do notice is the time stamp on the playback video - it is stuck 1hr behind, but it's not a major issue as I set the feeding schedule 1hr behind, so it operates at the precise time she normally gets fed. Very easy to operate.

I accepted that this feeder is not distributing the same amount of food as described! But I moved house, changed my wifi and I cannot use it anymore no matter how many times I tried to reset everything! It doesn't work anymore!!!!!!

I bought this pet feeder which cost me alot of money... The manual doesn't fit the contents and when I did the sign up on my phone it doesn't work.... I can't log into to set up the feeder at all... Keeps saying there is an error.... I want my money back if it can't be fixed!!!! I have emailed you for help... But you havent bothered to reply!!!! Feeling very upset by it all. Very expensive machine which doesn't work with the app!!!! Please get back to me and fix it!!!!
