This is the most poorly designed app ever. It's very obviously foreign, the english translation is horrible. All I want to do is switch the brightness or active scene based on whether its day and night and I cant even do that. The automation and Alexa capabilities are a joke. Horrible. If you've just bought these lights, do yourself a favor and refund them before it's too late. Also right out the box, half of my 2m strip is faulty and if I touch it slightly, it stops working.

Really great when I first got them. Little trouble setting up but after that they were perfect. Stopped using it for a little bit and now it does work at all. I've reset them, uninstalled app and everything. The lights are red and according to this app they are paired up but the lights don't change colour at all, they don't turn off, it doesn't let me change anything. I don't recommend buying these until you only want lights for a week or two because thats honestly all they last.

Once great now completely broken. In instructing Google to simply turn on a light I was being told that they didn't support that functionality. So I go to google home and try reconnect Genio this didn't work. I removed it and tried to read and get told invalid user name and password despite those same login details working in the app itself. The problem with this linking login is it offers phone or email as a means to login however does not allow you to differentiate between the two. Fix it!

This app has become a lemon, along with the products. I was a great fan of genio until a couple of months ago when the doorbell caught fire after 1 day of use. The motion sensors are ridiculously slow to send a response, the Xmas lights are of a very poor quality & generally fall apart whilst unpacking from new. Now the app has started to misbehave & the IR hub no longer controls appliances that were functioning fine until an hour ago. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, reassigned & rebooted 🍋

App is a nightmare! Took ages to set up & live stream my security camera. Customer support was no help at all.I found out how to get it to semi work from a forum.I'm not slow when it comes to technology but the setup instructions from Mirabella were useless.Once done after hours of mucking around, if I go to view what the camera is seeing it either tells says failed to connect to encrypted channel, or to retry, or it freezes, or just keeps trying to connect. Lucky to view once to every 60 tries

I bought one so you don't have to. 2 / 5 of mine went faulty within 2 months. Unreliable and cheap. Update, they removed Google home functionality from my lights, first they removed shortcut routines from the app it self, and now after impairing, repairing and factory resetting my lights and rebooting my Google home it can only change the colour of my lights, and not the brightness anymore, these lights really suck and I regret buying 6 of them, they are absolute trash... 😭😭
