This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing The Milepost Tour Guide on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

About this app

This app is your personal “Tour Guide” as you navigate the highways of Alaska and Western Canada. The app starts by showing a list of trips (routes) that you can load onto your Android device. Once loaded, just tap on the map icon and let the app be your personal “Tour Guide” along the route. The interactive map shows each attraction listed in The Milepost just before you drive by them.

NOTE: This app is different than the free digital edition that comes with the purchase of the Milepost Book.

Features include:

• Interactive tour guide, showing attractions as you drive past them;

• Tour Guide works even when out of cell range;

• Travellers can choose which trips they want to load;

• Look ahead on the journey to see what is coming up;

• Post your own reports to The Milepost from the road;

• Searchable content to find what your looking for along each trip; and
