Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Bangkok Train Map on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.

About this app

This app is designed to help you get around Bangkok easily by showing the location of BTS, MRT and ARL train lines and stations accurately on top of a real map. Other apps show a simple line drawing but don't show the real locations in the city, so I don't find that very helpful.

This app shows all existing lines and stations, plus lines and stations that are currently under construction. This can help you plan for the new capabilities as new lines and stations are opened.

Use the Settings page to turn visibility on and off for each line to make an easy-to-use screen. You can also turn all "Under Construction" lines and stations on or off.

Please understand that the "Under Construction" line and station information can change at any time, so please only use it for future guidance. These station locations are approximate and will become accurate in the app once construction on each one is complete.

I will keep the information in the app up to date as I receive corrections and construction proceeds. I plan to add SRT lines and stations within Bangkok and also make smoother lines between stations.
