This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Shanghai Metro Route Planner on PC Windows and Mac.

About this app

This app helps you find the Metro train routes which can be used to travel from one location to another in Shanghai city.

The search provides you with a list of alternative routes which can be used to travel from the source to destination station. It provides you with the number of line changes and station stops involved in each route.

You can also view the detailed station list for each train line in Shanghai. Also, you can long press on any station name from the list to see it on online maps.

The app displays names and texts in English or Chinese based on the device UI language/settings.

This app can work completely offline (without internet).
