About this app

Tokyo Ghoul is a Japanese dark fantasy manga series.

Tokyo Ghouls are in another reality, ghouls, carnivorous "monsters" look like ordinary people, but can only rely on human flesh to survive, secretly living in the crowd, hide their nature, to escape the authorities chase. Including increased speed, sensory and regenerative ability, conventional ghouls are several times stronger than ordinary people, skin resistance to common puncture weapons, at least one special predator organ called Kagune (Japanese: Herzi), which can be used as a weapon in combat. Another notable feature of ghouls is that when they are excited or hungry, the color of the sclera of the eyes turns black and the iris turns red.

This mutation is called Kakugan. Semi-ghouls can naturally be born as ghouls and descendants of humans, and can be artificially created by transplanting some of the body organs into humans. In both cases, half ghouls are usually much better than pure blood ghouls.

There are also half humans, ghouls and human hybrids that can feed and lack kagune like normal people, and have enhanced capabilities, such as increased speed and reaction speed, but shorter life spans. To hunt down ghouls, some government-sponsored organizations, such as CCG, have been created around the world.

In the case of a ghoul, only one eye underwent a "red eye" transformation.
