This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing SavePic on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.

when it works, it's exactly what I need. However, it doesn't seem to accept images shared from the gallery.

Every time I opened the app, I was blacked out of my phone. Black overlay screen and no buttons work. Can't go back, can't go home, can't power options, can't recent apps. Just black. And this was AT THE START OF THE APP, not even in the swipe show. Messaged dev about problem on Note4 and never got a resolution even after several updates. Uninstalled because I hate restarting my phone. Going to use XIM from now on.

HOW IT WORKS

Select your pictures in a picture app of your desire and just share the selected picture with this app. This will start the picture show that let others only swipe through the selected pictures and saves your privacy.

This app will then simply show your shared media on the lockscreen once and people won't be able to access your phone or any other media because your phone will be protected by its native lock screen.

* hand around your phone in a group

You may want to show some funny pictures or your holiday pictures to your friends and give them your phone. Most of us have some funny friends that never listen to you and are very curious and then they start looking through your photos or your phone and search for something embarrassing or funny.
