I really enjoy this app and have found it to be extremely useful. Living in Florida, we do a lot of water based activities. Storms often sneak up on you, and that makes getting a load of kids out of the water a struggle. This app is very useful for giving a heads up so that we can start that process. Once the lightning gets within the 6 mi we hear thunder. My only request would be that the creators add a motion to the radar overlay so that it let's you know what direction the storm is moving.

Location search is awful. Type in "Brookfield" and you get a list of 20 or more with no additional info like state. You get a picture of a flag to indicate country but when it seems there's a Brookfield in every other state in the US, it becomes extremely cumbersome to find the right one. You have to click one, let it go there on the map, delete that one if wrong, click the next one on list after re-running search every time. Tip: don't lose your spot in the results.

Here in Florida, it is a must have app for me. I work out side and can't always watch the weather. I love the thunder clap sound alert. I can see where the lightning is currently and where it might be headed is real time. Highly recommended! My most used app! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

App is excellent, however cookies consent screens are misleading and don't allow all selections. Misleading: because it implies rejecting cookies blocks adverts which is not true, only blocks some information collection. Don't allow all selections: you can only expand one Purpose at a time and if you click the switch to object to the purpose then navigate back to Purposes, then expand the same Purpose, the slider is back to On (green), implying the state isn't saved. Save just exits selection.

Worthless. Two days of major electrical storms each afternoon and not a peep, not a sound, not even a hint of an alarm or message of any kind. Nothing. Utterly worthless.

Simple to use, does what it says on the tin, no side trips! 12/08/20 proving its worth in today's storms! However, your new Advert enable request screen is misleading and wrong. You can still show ads in an app if the user has refused cookies, you just can't show targeted ads and dump tracker cookies and other spyware!
