I forgot the password and there is not even a password reset. It's no longer installed on my phone, but Google Play says it is and so I can't reinstall it. May as well throw my "unsmart" devices away now. How can such a stupid cheap app be allowed on the market?

the app is fine, functional. but the account system is awful. three seperate accounts ive made, because whenever i log out / log in on another device, it wont accept my password, even if i had changed it just 30 seconds prior! edit: nein, das Problem ist immer noch vorhanden. entschuldigung

App is fine and you can create scenes and automations. Although you cannot confirm a countdown time when creating a scene and therefore can't create a scene with a countdown. You can in the Smartlife app. My biggest gripe here is plugs turning on or off at random. This could potentially be blamed on wifi connection or "flaky" power except it is not a problem with any other smart device i have. Even when testing the network in the app 1m away from a high speed router connected to fibre to the premises (with the highest bandwidth) getting 100mbps, it states that the network connection is "poor". On all 10 devices i bought. A bit sketchy and probably not an issue on my network's part? Seems to revert to original state. If the switch was powered but off and you paired it, it will turn off at random. If on while paired, it will turn on at random. Even after factory reset. I think. May both turn on and off at random. The plugs appear to have memory so maybe it could log it's last state rather than original state and when this drop out happens, it could flicker rather than turn off or on? Will update with results soon. Fix this stuff for a fiver! Cheers!

Used to be a great app and great products but now will not run on Google Pixel 3 device, crashing at start up every time. I am now unable to manage these devices in my house. I tried raising ticket on line but site is in German, even English version has German answers to english questions. Real shame and I will not be buying any more of these devices until it's fixed. Been broken for too long, I guess it's also no longer supported.

I had been logged out of my Life+ account and had been unable to get back in. The Password Reset emails did not arrive. I rang the Australian Medion customer support number and spoke to someone who told me that the the system has been down for a couple of weeks and nobody can get in. He took my phone number and said they would contact me when the system is back up. When it was working, the App was 3-4 stars, but currently 2 is as good as it gets.

No problem installing the Life+ Medion app on my Android phone. The BIG problem is the creating/verification of a Medion account. I have tried 20-30 times, carefully following the instructions, including the password 10-20 characters including caps,lowercase, numbers and special characters all with the verification code completed in a ridiculously restrictive 60 seconds. I continually get "illegal information please correct it" or "incorrect email verification code". I have read many others having similar issues. I am using 2.4Ghz wifi. This is so frustrating and a complete disrespect and disregard for end users, many of whom have raised this issue. It would be helpful if a Medion rep. would monitor such feedback and give a constructive solution. I am going to try TUYA Smart app, which some have had success with due to an apparently similar hardware etc. But how ridiculous to have to resort to that! FOLLOW UP: Took 5 minutes to download and setup TUYA Smart app with my Medion LIFE+ plug. Seems almost identical app.
