I had an issue with http commands with jsonrpc embedded in it. Do not forget to escape the { and } with %7B and %7D. And possibly the : as well with %3A. I got a quick response from their support.

Before I actually started messing with it it sounded like it would work over my wifi with out other stuff to have to be bought. IF you think it would be worth spending money for the box and other needed items, just to be able to remote control them, then it is worth getting. Other wise it is just something to uninstall if you have installed it. The app is okay, but again useless with out the other equipment.
