About this app

Meet Ariaentgen (Ariaantje) Claes van der Minne. She was Johannes Vermeer's aunt and lived in the house depicted in The Little Street. Ariaantje will be your guide on a walk through the Delft of 1665 as you go in search of her nephew Johannes.


WALKING ROUTE
The route is 2 km long and contains several information stops featuring video and audio clips. During the walk, Ariaantje offers a glimpse into Vermeer’s life and Delft as it was in 1665.

USING THE APP
To follow the route, download the app first. The route departs from the Museum Prinsenhof Delft. During the walk you will receive 'alerts' whenever you are nearing an information stop.

CONNECTION
A GPS connection is necessary to determine your position on the map during the walk. An Internet connection is not needed. This app does not use your data bundle.
Please note: extended use of GPS can severely diminish battery lifespan.
