This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Car.Droid on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

About this app

Useful app to writing down each refueling of your car with km/miles progressive, liters and other things with a quick stats panel.
You can add different cars and for each car add notes (like maintenance notes "oil changed in 15/05/2007 at 564654 miles").

Permissions:
Location permissions are used to find your location and use it when you add a new refueling record (optional, you can write it yourself).
Obtaining an address works only if you are connected to the internet (wifi or mobile data connection).
SD write permissions are used to save your car data in your SD card.

This app (created for Froyo) works only if you have a menu button.
