This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Meat°it on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

This device and the app are absolute garbage! Do not use it! Here's a list of all the issues. 1) The app has major issues connecting to the device itself. 2) The range on the probe to the wireless base is next to nothing. And wont even read when the lid of my smoker is closed. 3) The probe itself wont hold a charge long enough to even start cooking let alone a 8 -12hr smoke. Don't wait your time or money on this.

Struggle with connection issues initially but managed to get the probe to connect to the app. Decided to use this probe side by side with the probe built into our oven. This probe was off by over 30°. It's a nice concept and the tracking graph is a cool party trick but if it can't be an accurate thermometer then it's just a toy and a waste of $90. Returning it to Williams-Sonoma today.

Useless probes. When the grill lid is closed, the range of the Bluetooth is 6 feet. Can't even get inside without losing connection. And can't use the WiFi extension without creating an account so they can sell my data, besides my phone would have to stay on the grill for THAT to even work. Don't waste your money.

You no longer want to choose between spending time with your guests or in the kitchen? Choose Meat°it!

Easy to use and self-explanatory, you can launch your favorite cooking mode with just a couple of clicks and simultaneously monitor the core temperature as well as the cooking speed (slow, fast, extinction of the coals, contact with flames, etc.) for your meat, fish and poultry dishes. The remaining cooking time is automatically calculated so that you can spend the most time possible with your guests.

You can also select from pre-programmed cooking options or define your own.

Is your dish perfectly cooked? Then share it! Thanks to the Meat°it app, you can share the picture of your dish live and indicate the cooking mode and time as well as the core temperature.

Moreover, you can:
- Connect up to 4 probes simultaneously: is one piece of meat being cooked in the oven and another on the barbecue? No problem! Monitor their respective cooking simultaneously using your smartphone up to a range of 98 feet (30 m)
- Set a timer to remind you when it is time to turn the meat, for example
- Save your favorite cooking modes: You can rename your favorite mode and add it to “My modes” so you can launch it in record time the next time around
- Program a resting time of up to 10 minutes and enjoy a tender, tasty piece of meat.
