This is working flawlessly on my LG V35 ThinQ (Not V30/+/S!!!). Anything related to themeing the system is compatible, including dark notifications, navbar customizations, and status bar customizations. Most of the supported apps work as well. Enjoying a totally blacked out phone To anyone with a *V35*: in the device selection, choose *G7* and ~NOT~ *V30*

it does some things for default apps, but its not working well with notifications, and not even with old versions of facebook and instagram they asked to install. dont waste your time here. they posted in app description after you press read more that they don't support other apps but they kept the images where they show you that they support other apps.

I believe this would be a great app however I can't seem to get it to work currently with the apps I need so I shall wait until it gets updated hoping it'll fix Hangouts crash and the notification shade as it makes it a tad see through.. Can't refund - but I think I want to help this lad.

Amazing app and developer if you know what you are doing. The App does its job and at that it is really really good personally I love it. No other app lets you customize your LG phone like this.

It does not work well with my G7 and there aren't many overlay options. Even the play store and other Google apps are not changing. Can i have the refund please, its only been few hours since I installed it.

absolute g̶a̶m̶e̶ phone changer. brilliant work, just as others have said. if configured properly, no issues, & makes you phone feel like an entirely different new one, or like you've had an amazing OS update. well worth the price

About this app

*** Third party apps are now discontinued. Please use Domination, Sprite or Big Blu for those*** Some may still work but if they cease to work you will need to use an alternate theme for your third party apps. Alpha is now only supporting system apps.

Instructions for those who are not familiar with using Substratum, or if you run into issues:

Welcome to Alpha. Alpha is a clean and dark theme with all kinds of excellent features where as the user you get to choose your own experience. Want center or left clock? No problem we can do that. No root is required! You will however need access to a computer to get started. This is the first and only theme for the LG V30, G6 & G7 running Oreo only!!! Nougat is not supported!!!

Known issue with G6 clock mods on lock screen. This is being investigated but does not affect performance or crash anything

I recommend disabling auto update for Google apps. This is because they sometimes update daily and they change so many things that it can easily break an overlay. This at least gives me a fighting chance to find the change and apply it to my theme. From my experience reading reviews it seems a lot of people expect an instant fix for Google apps which is not realistic and by doing this you can at least enjoy your overlay until a fix can be found. Some apps there will be a dialog stating certain things such as "only works on version 123456, etc" this is because that's the version I'm on and have not received my update for it yet so therefore I cannot guarantee it will function on the next version. So if you're running a higher version and want to have that app themed you have two options. One is be patient and wait for me to update the app. Or you can uninstall the app and grab the most recently supported version from apkmirror.

I've included the ability to keep and maintain adaptive icons for your stock launcher and some apps have an option to choose a custom adaptive icon. I'll add more later and only did a few that bugged me like the ugly lg settings icon. For these to change sometimes you have to go into the settings app and change the adaptive shape and then they will take affect. That's just how the lg home launcher works.

Now for the important part. Applying the overlays.
Btw most of this post will be transferred to the op when this goes live.
First I recommend disabling any lg themes applied and reverting back to stock theme. The two can coexist but it's not advised and if you have an LG theme applied and then apply any substratum mods, and then just go back into the LG theme chooser app it can disable all substratum mods and reapply your LG theme again which is a bit of a pain.
I found that the "build and apply" option doesn't always work well with LG. It can cause substratum to freeze on occasion, and can break connectivity with Andromeda as well. It doesn't happen every time but I found through extensive testing the best way is to use "build and update" even if it is your first time installing the overlay. It just works better and faster most of the time. Then once all the overlay's are build go back and select them again and select "enable". I found 9 times out of 10 this is the best way to apply them and I experienced fewer issues. Do this from the "Themes" tab. The "Manager" tab really wasn't needed and caused me the most headaches.
When applying the "Android" overlay a reboot will be required for everything to take full effect. Keep in mind rebooting also kills Andromeda so you'll have to reconnect to it if you want to apply anything else.
