About this app

The NMRK USA App was created to help the Buddhist practice of members of Soka Gakkai International. Available in English, Portuguese, Spanish and Italian. It was inspired by the NMRK World App, but brings many improvements and new functions:
1 - Gongyo in 5 languages.
2- Daily incentives of SGI, by President Daisaku Ikeda, with beautiful images of United States of America. A new quote for each day of the year;
3- Sharing the daily encouragement for WhatsApp or other applications;
4- Daimoku counter, with the following functions:
- Daimoku audio support;
- Countdown timer with choice of the desired time;
- Display of the Daimoku Campaign Goal;
- Daimoku PAUSE function,
- Daimoku time record: AUTOMATIC or MANUAL.
5- Daimoku Chart:
- Daimoku campaigns with duration of 50 hours (no more 300 hours, as the NMRK World App);
- 50 stages to complete the Daimoku campaign, each stage with 1 HOUR.
- Each stage of one hour corresponds to an AMERICAN STATE. The graph will display the status corresponding to the progress of the Campaign.
- When you complete the 50 hours, you will complete all the states on the map;
- Set in the CAMPAIGN informations, as the goal and details for the Daimoku Campaign;
- Displays progress bar to make it easier to view your performance in the campaign (how much of Daimoku you have accomplished and how much is missing);
6- Daimoku Statistics:
- New control to visualize your performance in the current campaign and compare with previous performance;
- Available Daimoku time sums: Today, Yesterday, Current week, Current month, Current year, Previous week up to the same day; Previous month up to the same day, Previous week total, Previous month total, Previous year total, Number of campaigns accomplished and in progress, Total Daimoku hours registered in the app;
- List of all campaigns (of 50 hours) conducted;
- List of performed daimoku sessions, either with automatic or manual registration;
7- Settings and Reminders:
- Reminder for Daimoku time;
- Reminder for the time to receive the encouragement message;
- Daimoku audio speed options: fast or slow;
8- Books and Accessories:
- Link to book and acessories website.

App Permissions

Allows an application to broadcast an Intent to set an alarm for the user.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
