This is hands down the best trail map I've come across for washington state trail systems!

This app is the only comprehensive map I have found showing roads open to ORVs. I have found no other like this. It has limitations, but the developers acknowledge this is in development. Looks great so far.

Nice ORV map tool. Easy to see available routes. To view the legend, clock in the "?" for the help screen. Great tool to help find riding opportunities.

About this app

Off-Roading Northwest (NW), by Northwest Portal (formerly OHV WA) is the app for people seeking an off-road adventure... Motorcycle/Trail Bike, ATV, UTV, WATV or 4x4. Plan a tour with the map, use the filters to pick the perfect destination, and download regions free for off-line navigation.

Find everything you need to know in one place with information on all of the off-roading opportunities in Washington and parts of Idaho and Oregon. The data is sourced from managing organizations, and is regularly updated to give you the most accurate information available for:

• Trails and trail access for all types of off-roading, color coded by the activities allowed, so you can look at the map and see where you can ride,
• Recreation areas that are open to off-roading (or places to stop en-route),
• Campgrounds,
• Places that allow dogs,
• Businesses that support off-roading including lodging, dining and shopping opportunities.
• Upcoming off-roading events,
• Much more.

See the latest conditions: The maps are updated regularly to show seasonal and emergency closures. Roads and trails are updated monthly to show current status of places subject to seasonal closures and updates are done promptly when emergency conditions, such as fire, force unscheduled closures.

Get the information you need by clicking on any point, trail or area: link to the web page, who owns and manages the area or facility, rules, allowed activities, pass required, amenities and facilities, links to blogs and articles and much more.

Filters let you highlight the perfect destination that meets all of your needs: for example, a campground with ATV riding nearby and a boat launch, a trailhead with access to 4x4 trails that does not require a pass, or an OHV dealer that is open on Monday.

You can filter by:
• Activity
• Recreation facilities
• Pass required (or places that do not require a pass),
• Business services
• Days open
• And more
