Whenever I was looking for my next adventure I spent too much time going through all the available information.
I almost got to the end of the Internet!

Mappyning is a crowd sourced collaborative app in which real users can share their happy/sad experiences in several categories so you can explore the World's Happiness on a map.

Mappyning helps mapping the World's Happiness, so you can explore the World map and decide the places you want to go or avoid based on the experience and Happiness scores for any location given by other users just like you.

Follow, track and share the World's Happiness as major events unfold!
Mappyning alerts you in real-time about Happiness trending locations on the map, so you can decide whether to join in, follow at the distance or make plans for your next trip. Share it on social media and convince your friends!

So, what is the Happiness Score and why should I care?

The Happiness Score let’s you know how people feel about locations all over the World by applying the formula:

HS = %HAPPY EMOTICONS - %SAD EMOTICONS (HS between -1 and 1)

Each screen showing a part of the World map is divided in 9 same-sized area rectangles.

For each rectangle area shown on the screen, Mappyning will apply the Happiness Score formula and display the resulting emoticon in the center of that area.

When a user marks a location by dragging and releasing an emoticon onto the map, Mappyning never shows the exact location marked. It will always show the result of the Happiness Score calculation for that whole screen area on the map.
If there were no contributions for a given area, then the Happiness Score is not calculated for that area.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
