the app has been good in the past, but nothing from the past stays in the present. currently it sucks in this new update, apart from removing the web editor and uploader now has to be installed on PC. It's a shame what you did. screwed up the app completely. I very much wish you guys to lose more users as these ridiculous updates will bankrupt you.

Update: the dev responded to say they fixed it. They haven't. It's still useless. Absolute garbage. Clicking on the map in explore takes me to some random place, that I didn't touch, and then I can't change it. No help in app, and I can't work it out. Single press, double press, press and hold, nothing does anything to change where I am on the map.

Tired of how this app is handled: before i couldnt sign in and now that i can via the new version, the programmers removed the essential editing tools to edit out errors linked to GPS innacuracy and camera wrong direction. As a long time OSM contributor i needed this app to show evidence of features in reality. The sequence i uploaded just shows 1 shot among the 21.

On the same phone I have now two apps. The old (v. 3.179) and the new app (v. 1). In the old app I have over 12.000 photos to be uploaded. The old app doesn't allow the upload process. The new app doesn't know about the imagery taken by the old app. Any solution please?! I need to upload those imageries!!!

I've downloaded the new version and get "SystemKeystore not initialised" when I try to login. I've tried changing my password but the email reset link opens the app ... which requires me to login before I can change it!

Since Mapillary has been taken over by Facebook, you don't own your own photos anymore. They now officially state your data isn't yours anymore, everything is private property of facebook. So even wrong photos, can't delete them anymore. And they even put back photos I deleted already months ago. Totally violating the law of ownership on photos. This resulting in even such wrong stuff like a photo, 360 degrees of the Kremlin(RU) in the middle of antarctic. And we can't fix it, since FB owns all

About this app

Mapillary is the street-level imagery platform that scales and automates mapping using collaboration, cameras, and computer vision.

Anyone can capture images of any place, as often as needed, with any camera—including smartphones. Mapillary combines all images into a collaborative street-level view of the world that’s available for anyone to explore and use for improving maps, cities, and mobility. Computer vision technology provides a smooth viewing experience and speeds up mapping through machine-extracted map data.

Capturing with the Mapillary mobile app is the easiest way to join our contributor network. Let’s get started!

CREATE YOUR OWN STREET-LEVEL VIEWS
You control when and where to capture to create the freshest street-level imagery. Mapillary’s technology combines all images into a navigable view and blurs faces and license plates for privacy.

ACCESS AND OPEN UP DATA
Mapillary contributors are people, organizations, companies, and governments in 190 countries. Millions of images are added to the dataset every week, which you can explore right here in the mobile app.

MAKE BETTER MAPS
Use imagery and machine-extracted data to add details to maps and geospatial datasets. Mapillary integrates with tools like OpenStreetMap iD editor and JOSM, HERE Map Creator, and ArcGIS. To access the available map data, go to mapillary.com/app.
