I was trained in JKD for many years with a mixture of Kali in it. This app definitely demonstrates a lot of the correct information but I did not see a finger jab which is the most in my opinion important self defense moves that can stop fight basically almost before it starts. It's good for a beginner to understand but it also doesn't show any diagrams of vulnerable strike points on your appointment like the eyes, throat, groin Etc if you are just starting JKD it is definitely a good app to get an idea of why you're standing the bring the position that you stand I'm right-handed I was taught when I was younger to stand with my left hand as my lead and when I started training and learn the correct stance and the best dance to fight in is with your right leg forward right hand forward you want your closest hand to be your strongest hand because there's a lot less distance that also does not mention the snap of the wrist before landing the punch when standing in a relaxed position the whole idea of it is when you strike your opponent and you tighten your fist and snap that wrist right before impact it causes the brain to Rattle inside the skull which causes your opponent to be knocked out instead of the traditional American boxing where power is basically generated from the arms and you try to punch through the person. I did not learn this in a JKD School I learned from a underground Street Fighter who took me under his wing. Basically JKD was invented by Bruce Lee based on Wing Chun another martial arts wear the great Bruce Lee got rid of unnecessary movements and Telegraph when you punch so your opponent does not even know when you are going to strike and your strike is also your block where JKD gets its name the art of the intercepting fist Street Fighter throws a punch and you throw a punch you're coming straight up the Middle with from a shorter distance which will cause your forearm to deflect his punch and still connect with your opponent not slowing you down one bit. I would say if you are talk this art correctly if you cannot take your opponent out within 6 seconds you should have shot him. I highly suggest anybody in martial arts to drop all that nonsense stances and dances and just like Bruce Lee says Be Like Water when what their photos a cup it becomes the shape of the cup in other words your surroundings are your best friend. But this is definitely a good app for beginners to get a rough idea. I've trained for many years and I still do and I've only had to use it a handful of times and not bragging but I thought I was a badass before JKD but I'll tell you this after learning JKD anybody who is just a plain old Street Fighter and even has training in martial arts 100 has a very slim chance of making it more than 6 seconds with me. It also hasn't mentioned the six inch punch. The highly suggest anybody that wants to learn JKD to buy Bruce Lee's book you will get away more detailed and Anatomy charts inside to learn weak spots on the human body and why you don't throw a punch the traditional way and keep your fist vertical instead of horizontal and snap that wrist right before contact and close that fist right before contact

I tried to download it again. But everytime I download this app. I get annoying pop adds on my home screen. Fix this and I'll be happy to give it a go. Until then no way. It's not worth the constant annoyance.
