Ok app. Works ok. After sometime the bulb starts to give issues like blinking continuously and then stops working. Keep it off for a month and starts working again. What I really don't like is it requires a lot of permissions. I mean what does it have to do with phone call or messaging or location without which it won't work. Disappointed in the app.

I bought mansaa smartlight years back just out of curiosity. Was a little skeptical paying high price for a bulb. Played with colours and effects for some time and after that have been using it daily in the evenings. It's amazing that I haven't seen it malfunction even once all this time. Hats off to the quality of the product.

Just why the hell would you need my location? The message just says - app needs location permission? Without a bypass or an explanation.

Not able to creat shortcut on screen

I bought the bulb for the music sync. However, the music syn stoos every time I open any other app and this app is left to. run on the back ground. Mind you, the app keeps running in the background as there is adequate ram for it. So basically If I want the music sync then I need to keep the app open and do nothing else with the phone. Now, if I even start doing that, it won't stop my screen from shutting down and again the sync stops. The whole point of sync is to work in background.
