The Acthar Gel Infantile Spasms (IS) Dosing Calculator is a convenient app for quickly calculating the per-injection volume (mL) of Acthar Gel based on the patient’s body surface area and the Acthar Gel dose in U/m2. The app is designed to give the correct initial and/or tapered dose of Acthar Gel (in standard or metric measurements), creating the Acthar Gel IS treatment plan right from your mobile device. A detailed and customized dosing schedule is also provided.

INDICATION
Acthar® Gel (repository corticotropin injection) is indicated as monotherapy for the treatment of infantile spasms in infants and children under 2 years of age.

SELECT IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
Contraindications
• Acthar should never be administered intravenously.
• Administration of live or live attenuated vaccines in patients receiving immunosuppressive doses of Acthar.
• Acthar is contraindicated where congenital infections are suspected in infants.
• Acthar is contraindicated in patients with scleroderma, osteoporosis, systemic fungal infections, ocular herpes simplex, recent surgery, history of or the presence of a peptic ulcer, congestive heart failure, uncontrolled hypertension, primary adrenocortical insufficiency, adrenocortical hyperfunction or sensitivity to proteins of porcine origins.
