Die Applikation ermöglicht es Ihnen, das Welterbe „Grenzen des römischen Reiches: Obergermanisch-Raetischer Limes“ in der Region Mittelfranken mit Ihrem Android Smartphone zu entdecken.

Modul Landschaft:
Das zoombare, detaillierte Kartenmaterial erschließt Ihnen die Inhalte in der Landschaft. Eine Überblickskarte und zehn Detailkarten vom mittelfränkischen Teil des Raetischen Limes stehen offline zur Verfügung. Über die Detailkarten mit den Hotspots können Sie die Inhalte aufrufen und abspielen. Die Inhalte sind in die Applikation integriert, eine Internetanbindung ist nicht notwendig. Es stehen zahlreiche Video-, Audio- und Text-/Bildinformationen zur Verfügung. Die integrierte GPS-Funktion mit Alert (= Rufton) erleichtert die Navigation vor Ort.

Modul Listenansicht:
Die alternative Navigation zeigt die verfügbaren Inhalte zu jedem Ort als Liste an.

Die wissenschaftliche Betreuung wurde von der Landesstelle für nichtstaatliche Museen in Bayern und der Limesfachberatung des Bezirks Mittelfranken übernommen. Die Bayerische Sparkassenstiftung, die lokalen Sparkassen und die Städte und Gemeinden der Region stellen diese Applikation der Allgemeinheit kostenlos zur Verfügung.
