Makes buying tickets easier, and in some cases I could buy last minute. For me, an American unable to speak or read any Italian, this app eliminated a lot of guessing. Mind you, you do learn how to say the names of the cities in Italian; example, Florence = Firenze

not well designed for foreigners as you need a tax ID to create an account, and the only way to do it is by sending an email that is not well advertised or shown on the app . the purchase as guest requires a lot of info that it needs each time and is lost in the app if you lose internet connection, which is likely when on a train!

The app is great with exception to trying store my payment method. I have purchased tickets dozens of times with the same card and cannot get the app to store the card - frustration having to put the information in ever time - worse when in a hurry to catch a train...

As per usual with trenitalia, issues upon issues. Can't change the app's language: it's stuck in English which doesn't let me see the news or promotions. Can't check in for regional trains when it's late: most regionals are late, and if you wait to see if it actually comes then you can't check in anymore. Yesterday I needed 2h to buy the ticket over the aplication. Today I bought the ticket on the automat and choose the time. The concucter came in the train and asked me if I had validated it. Why I should validate if I have choosen the time on the automat? Yes, this is Italy and you have to do it over and over and over again. So I have to pay 5eur additionaly for the validation even I didn't know I had to do one.

The app is good, fast and does all of the things that I need! However, I have noticed that it seems to be only available to people with Italian Google accounts and tourists have to use "Trainine" or "Omio" to buy their tickets. Please see if you can fix this issue. Thank you!
