About this app

Il Palazzo della Borsa sede della Camera di Commercio di Napoli è un edificio ricco di storia, non solo architettonica, ma anche per accadimenti e decisioni importanti per l’economia del territorio prese in stanze e in corridoi risalenti a fine ‘800. In questi cento anni e più di attività si sono avvicendati uomini e donne ad amministrare l’Ente e a guidare le imprese, oggi giunte a circa 340mila, facendo della CCIAA di Napoli la terza d’Italia in ordine di importanza dopo Milano e Roma.

Le personalità che hanno amministrato l’Ente dal 1800 a qualche anno fa, per quanto illustri e autorevoli resta traccia solo negli archivi storici, tuttavia restano vivi e sempre presenti gli arredi storici, dipinti e busti che li hanno guardati, scrutati, serviti, testimoni di un tempo e che con severo o malinconico sguardo continuano ad osservarci oggi fungendo da preziosa cornice che è la rappresentanza.

Il progetto “L’Arte in Camera” è nato con l’obiettivo di raccontare questi testimoni perenni del nostro impegno, che rappresentano di fatto l’arte, la cultura, la storia della Camera di Napoli e di un periodo importante quale quello dell’’800 e i primi del ‘900.
