Radar map history = this app's strong point (6 hrs in free version). Forecast features are basic. For 48-hour past loop, I paid for premium (Nov 2022 sale, ~$6/yr). A year later could not renew at that price (rose to ~$15/yr), & new $21.49/yr price was too high. Finally renewed for $8.60/yr on cyber Mon 11/27/23. For $9/yr, I use ad-free AccuWeather (good 4-hr rain chart, & radar loop past/future = 1 hr/2 hr). Best of all: free Weawow (great daily/weekly graphs & widgets).

Finally broke down and paid for a month of premium. Yes, it is so much better. So happy for that since the app pretty much sucks for free. I was getting tired of it. However, 2 days after paying, now there is a new update and now the maps have changed and I simply can't see the street view of my location. Haizzzzzz😑..... Only way to actually see where I am is by turning on location app. Also, settings to update map every 5 minutes, but is does not....

It's accurate sometimes. Don't see a way to contact support. Since last update I have a notification that it's updating location all the time. Update for developer reply: I don't think you understand my complaint. The message in the notification bar was there for more than a day and did not change until I restarted my phone and then it went away.

Update: accuracy has gone to the dogs. Completely unreliable at forecasting precipitation of any kind. Only one nearby radar and apparently it's offline? When it works, it's great. but the design is only so-so -- it looks like a badly ported iPhone app. As a replacement for Dark Sky, this is the best I've found - but it has a long way to go. here's to hoping the developers keep investing, because there's a huge Dark Sky-shaped hole that still hasn't been filled. The widget is great.

This app has a lot going for it. About as up to date as you find, seems accurate location wise, a lot of custom setup choices, direction movement arrows, color choices, can move radar manually, etc. Its rain forecasting is rarely even close to making sense, but not including that in rating as not what I use it for. Thanks for a good radar app.

Sometimes radar will blank on zoom or move of map, or even freeze and not play when I press play. Webpage much more reliable but annoying to have to change the theme away from (the weather channel) terrible because it does not have a contrasted color for hail to one that does like my favorite (universal blue) all the time. Just found workaround for that choose theme then create a launcher shortcut for the webpage. But app is great when the radar actually works.
