This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing GPS Grid Reference - Full on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.

I have used this for a couple of years to get grid references, though I have used UK Atlas for walking maps. As UK Atlas has now stopped working I am now using this app for maps. The interface is confusing and the help screens non-existent AFAICS - will take some getting used to. Being able to see the compass to orient the map would be handy.
