Needs a widget. So far so good but you need to open the app to use....should have a widget that I can put on my home screen so I can access easier and faster.. I would change my rating and f a widget became available.

Why does the app need photo and video access? Could not pair. Second unit has stopped working. no LED light anymore. and instructions in package need a grammatical check and an editor. diagram is wrong with color wires in black and white. one LED light even flashed repeatedly as if trying to do some hand shaking but failed. tried three times. reset unit. reinstalled app. I'm going back to remote for a ten year old Chaberlan liftMaster Professional.

I installed the receiver and the app as instructed, which was very easy. It worked twice and then failed to work the door. The LED on the device would flash as expected but after 20 seconds or so the phone said that it couldn't detect a receiver. I reset the device by powering off and on the door mechanism, and tried re-detecting it on my phone, but it could not be found. I later found that the blue tooth on my phone had got corrupted and wouldn't work with anything (I was in my car and realised that I could no longer connect to the entertainment system or make calls); I had to restart my phone to correct this. I went through this process three times, installation, detection, worked a couple of times, screwed up bluetooth on my phone). I gave up and emailed Digital Ant on 5th July but never got a reply. (I'm writing this review on 21st July 2019, over two weeks ago, though before I'd bought it a query was answered within 24 hours.) If zero stars were available that is what I what I would give as it simply doesn't work. As it operated a couple of times after each installation I assume that it is compatible both with my door opener, and my version of Android. Do not buy this.
