I've had always good experience when using this app in Vientiane. All drivers can speak English and most of them are very polite. It's very useful since transportation in Laos is not very easy (tuktuk don't speak English, no public transportation such as busses, etc)

The app is ok but fares are terribly expensive, drivers are extremely slow because fare is based on time rather than distance. Cars are ok, drivers overall ok.

Though it is a very helpful app when travelling in Laos, it does need a lot of improvement. The fact that my credit card is charged immediately a driver accepts my request and then refunds and re-charge again upon arrival at destination is so confusing. Also, I was charged a 'convenience fee' every time I used the service...no idea what it is. I sent an email / message to inquire about this fee but there has been no response so far. Will I use it again?...Well yes..since Grab does not work.

The new version is not as good as the previous one. One needs to complete several steps before booking. the tracking of the driver while he is still on his/her way to pick you up is not always accurate and has glitches. the latter also pops out in a separate window, which is not convenient. Otherwise Loca is very handy and I don't know how I would have lived in Lao for the past 5 months without it.

Recently apps slow to load and crash. The rate is getting more expensive too, the price during peak hour sometimes is so ridiculous.

The UX designed in a very unfriendly way. The price that you see before your ride is always different with the result price (result one is always bigger). Also, the price is crazy for the SN Asia - we paid approx. 4 US dollars for the 2 km ride by the straight highway in Vientiane. So, there is a lot of to work on.
