(updated to 3 star, after figuring out my problem) 3 star. The app works, kinda. I can raise and lower my desk, I even set some favorite positions. I got a new chair and wanted to change my favorite positions, but it's impossible. I even go to the portion that says "change favorite positions" I select one of my favorites, it takes me to another screen to adjust the desk and has a "save" button. It does nothing. I had one empty favorite, so I figured I'd just use it. Nope. Three star because if I want to control my desk, I can just use the flipper control that comes with it. The app is basically worthless now. There's no way to reset your favorites either. Edit: I found a work-around. Change the user to guest, and then back to owner. Now I can save positions again.

Edit: downgrading to 1 star because every time bluetooth is disconnected (e.g. due to phone restart), I need to push the bluetooth button on the controller again to connect -- otherwise, it just complains "we're having some trouble connecting to your desk". I can confirm all permissions (including location) is given to the app and the bluetooth connection is setup by the app. I think this is a recent regression as automatic bluetooth reconnection used to work. ================================ The app works okay in terms of changing the height using up and down arrows. But there are at least two issues: 1. when increasing the height to a favorite position, it keeps stopping in the middle even though I have kept on pressing the target favorite position. It usually stops 3-4 times from sitting to standing position and I have to release finger and press again each time, which is quite annoying. I have no issue in increasing the height by long pressing "^" in the app, or decreasing the height using favorite position by long pressing, or using physical control to increase height. 2. The challenge history/usage overview has a 2-day gap. Even if I use it daily, the history never shows usage for yesterday and the day before yesterday. It appears today's usage straight moves 3 days ago (skipping 2 days in the middle).

Edit: changed from 1 star to 4. After not touching the app for half a year I can connect to my desk without issues now. Same smartphone and OS and settings. Controlling the desks height, automatic drive an even adjusting the height display to fit actual measurements works well.

It works, as it's designed, I suspect, but the lack of one-touch auto height changes makes the app kinda useless. If i have to hold the button, I can hold the button on the desk with out unlocking my phone to find the app. :/

People are more likely to write a review if their equipment has issues, so I'm trying to balance that out. Worked straight away with the unit included in my Idasen from Ikea. No problems pairing or operating. I suggest changing the notifications for the app to "silent" (latest version of Android) so it stays pinned as a small, collapsed line in your swipe-down settings, and does not appear in your task bar or lock screen. Having to long press to go to a preset hasn't been an issue for me.

Having a one press favorite height setting would alleviate most issues with this app. I don't understand why anyone would prefer holding the favorite button down rather than a single touch for the height setting? Release an update to address this issue please! The developer responded with some advice, but my desk must not support automatic drive. Not sure why this feature could not be coded, but gave an extra star for the prompt response.
