VIVINT WILL BUY OUT YOUR ADT CONTRACT!! My wife and I have had ADT for a month now. The monitoring is non-existent. I purposely set off the sensors in our home every now and then to see if they're working and not only has there NEVER been an alarm that goes off but NOT ONCE have we ever received a phone call that a sensor has been triggered. The push notifications lag SO BAD it's not even worth having. There is a Vivint tech in my home RIGHT NOW. Goodbye ADT!

When I first started using the camera, it was always recording. Then it stopped, completely. Now it works sporadically I checked the connections to the power, it's good. I called the service number for help, waited for 15 minutes and hung up. Tried calling a few more times to but to no avail. Never did get through to speak with anyone. Camera- eh, it's okay. Service- negative 10

The app takes between 2-5 minutes to send push notifications when devices are triggered. I tried talking to customer support, and was finally told that that's normal. That means the system is unusable. Ring notifications happen immediately. We replaced our Ring system after a break-in where the burglars clearly saw the Ring cameras and were undeterred. The ADT name was appealing to us, but functionality is more important when my family's safety is at stake. I'm returning the system.

Can't wait to be out of contract, wish I would've gone with a different company, maybe even regular ADT. Horrible camera system, only good when they actually don't go offline, even tho they lag. The app is so frustrating, barely ever works properly, push notifications are garbage and thier customer service is no good.

System is great when it's online. Cameras frequently drop off and have to be manually reset to reconnect. Push notifications don't work on Samsung Galaxy S20 (AT&T). A call to customer service at 11:00am EST, got a sleepy voice that kept yawning and said "I'm not ready for this yet". She tried hard but could not resolve the issue and "elevated it". I was promised a return call but have as yet to receive it 2 weeks later. Otherwise the APP is fine.

Camera is rarely real time and inconsistent with recordings. Tried setting off the alarm myself and never went off or alerted my phone. We have a strong wifi signal but the camera doesn't stay connected from 4 feet away. Switched phones recently and now I have to re-initialize the whole system without an activation code. So far this system is unreliable and not dependable in feeling safe.
