The app is better than the official Pentax app and loads you pictures as soon as you're connected. I'm giving it 3 instead of 4 or 5 stars, because it was difficult to figure out how to connect in the first place. Didn't notice the manual link in the preferences. Would prefer if it had a walk through the first time the app was loaded guiding you to manually connect your phone's WiFi to the Camera's wifi signal. Better yet, have the app automatically connect to the camera's WiFi signal.

compared to great apps i've known and loved, this one should really only be three stars - because it is "just okay". it isn't pretty or especially intuitive and all you can do is browse and copy photos from the camera (a ricoh grIII in my case) to the phone with little fuss and at great speed. but unlike ricoh's own app, this one actually works - and because i'm so pleased that some random person has decided to do the coding the ricoh engineers don't seem able to manage for their own equipment, well... i'm giving it five stars. yaay, and thanks.

5 stars deserved after the recent update. Its so much better than the image sync. It does download both full size and miniatures. GPS spot on showing locations like a charm. What's most important I believe it downloads stuff much quicker than ISync. You have my gratitude Mr Dev for making this for us Pentaxians :) To whom who uninstalled and given 1 star, try it again now!

Actually it's a pretty good app. I have a Samsung S6 tablet and a Pentax K1 and now it allows me to sort of circumvent the app and go directly to Lightroom Mobile. Lightroom Mobile allows me to import from both cards where I shoot raw and jpg. The cable is FAR faster than the weak wifi the camera came with and it ports directly to my workflow. The only thing it does not do for me is live tethering. You shoot, then plug in to sync and sadly for we Pentaxians there are not many options otherwise for mobile tethering. I'll be adding the Tethertools 15' cable to my kit. Follow testshoot on social media, I'll probably talk about it some more.

OMG this actually works! Pentax official app hasnt worked for months for me and has always been a mess. Thanks for offering an alternative! K1 user.

Doesn't work. Can view some pictures but does not transfer RAW or JPG. Phone: Pixel XL running P. App hasn't been updated in a very long time. Do not waste your time
