This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing StreamerLink on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

Won't pair even though device is paired. Older version worked fine, but instructions made no sense. Never learned to use it. Used it to check battery level on streamer only.

Fails to connect to StreamerPro 1.3. Claims to be connecting, even asks for a pin number, and yes BlueTooth is set up correct. I guess Opticon do not support third party apps. Tried it as an alternative to the ConnectLine app which lacks in volume level and EQ, but then I guess you know that, which is why you are here! Unistalled.
