Can't find my way around this app. I'll stick to the paper maps they hand me when I go in to a park. 😕

It's a nice way to learn about the park before you get there. Once you get there the paper copy is all you need. It did take me awhile to figure out you have to delete information to download a different park.

Good maps and info. Hard to find your way around the app. Changing parks is difficult.

Not user friendly and cannot store more than one map at a time

I can download all the maps I want, but is stuck on Congaree NP. If this is the only pace you want to go then your covered! Otherwise this is a useless app.

About this app

America's National Parks (previously National Park Tours) provides information on each of the 58 national parks. The entire application has been rewritten and updated. It tells you how to get there, when to go and how to visit. It provides park maps, a topographic map for hiking, and information on park activities. It is a platform for sharing your experience of the park visit. You can create your own park tour with your points of interest (POI) on the maps. The POI contains comments, photos, and trails. You can share your tours with others or store them locally for future use. With your customized tour, you can create your own tour guide, or photo journey of your park visit. It is integrated with Flickr and Google. The park information is packaged in a tour for each park. Once loaded, the tours can be used without network connectivity.
