Simple, but it is weird that this app is separate from the main La Crosse app and is not linked or references in the main app to encourage data sharing. It is not clear if this is only needed for set-up or if the all needs to remain installed to relay the data. I'm hoping it is just for configuration and is eventually integrated with the main app. Could use a little refinement to the graphic design.

I was able to successfully connect to WU. Not sure if this helps anyone else, but just wanted to share, I connected my weather station to Wi-Fi using the La Crosse View App. After my station was connected to the internet, I then used the Weather Connect App to connect my station with my WU account. I did not enter in my WiFi password into the weather connect app, just the PWS and Key. I first made the mistake and used my PWS ID and my WU login password. This was incorrect, I needed to used my "Key" that was assigned by WU as my Password. Without that key, WU will not allow data to be uploaded. It did take about 40 minutes after using the Key instead of my password before my station status updated to online. Hope this helps.

I've seen lots of bad reviews for this simple app. In my case I have a dual band router. I purposely connected my phone to the 2.4 GHz band and found my weather station. I put in my pws id and key and I'm currently sharing my data. Works fine.

As pretty much everyone else has stated, this app just doesn't work. Sounds like it does for some, which is great for them, but not me. Followed all instructions for setup. Weather Connect app will not recognize my network. Reset unit multiple times, turned off 5ghz band on my router, renamed my 2.4ghz band, opened a 2.4ghz only "guest" network, reset station every time, nothing. Even reinstalled the app and reset my router after each change. Still get . Router will NOT show up!!

Worked great, once upon a time... We started having issues with our router about a month ago not holding wifi signals. Got a new router and attempted to reconfigure the weather station. App now shows "Unknown SSID" instead of the wifi name (even if using the old router) and will not login to WUNDERGROUND. If this issue isn't fixed, will be looking for a new weather station and will be ending a long time 'association' with Lacrosse.

I also could not get the app to work. I found an answer from La Crosse on someone's review saying to put the weather station in wifi search mode and run the app and it should populate the missing ssid name. That didn't work. uninstall, reinstall, restart the phone and so on, no luck! I am using a Galaxy S9+. For grins or being desperate, I installed the app on my Galaxy S7 on a different carrier. It worked fine. Success, I thought. Not showing up yet on my PWS dashboard. J. Sherrow
