Picture this: you are on the subway, riding to work on a dreary day in the city. Your mind is filled with thoughts of your trip to Walt Disney World and you begin to think about where you will be sleeping on property. You pull out your trusty Android device and open up your WDW Resort Researcher that you downloaded last night. As you rumble along on the subway you are immersed in your own personal research project, looking at the various resorts for member ratings and reviews, pictures, floor plans and cost calculations. Your imagination is working overtime… Wouldn’t it be fun to stay at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa next time? I wonder what people are saying about it. Oh look, 5 stars and 19 reviews. Lets find out more! Ooh, I have always dreamed of living in a world of grace and charm. Wow, 90 pictures! Lets check those out. I wonder how much it would cost to stay there.. lets see… tap the calculator icon. I think we’ll be staying from April 7th for 3 nights, tap the Select Room button. 1 Bedroom Royal Palm Club, that sounds nice, how much would that be? $4395? Wow, I guess we’ll need to save up some money or win the lottery for that one:p I think I'll send that one to the wife and see what she thinks about that room! What other rooms do they have I wonder… Someday I sure would like to stay in the Disney Suite I wonder how much that would cost…

The next thing you know it’s time to get off the subway, and you can’t wait for the ride home so you can get some more quality time on the WDW Resort Researcher… Perhaps we should have called it the WDW fantasy tool!

-) The list of resorts includes information about average member rating and number of member reviews.
-) Now has a comprehensive summary screen for each resort which allows you to easily access all of the information for that resort through the Android menu. This displays part of our resort description and a list of member reviews. Tapping on either of these will bring up the complete description or a complete member reviews. A swipe or the back button will get you back to the summary button.
-) Tapping on the calculator icon will allow you to calculate the cost, based on standard rack rates, of a stay at Disney world for a given start date, number of nights, and room which you can select. Base rate not including any additional fees or taxes. Rates subject to change without notice. Swan and Dolphin rates are not available.
-) Map button brings up dynamic Google Map of Walt Disney World, tapping on resort location takes you to summary page.
-) Tap on map pin icon and see location of current resort.
-) View current reviews on resort summary page.
-) Selecting stars icon will take you to a form where you can share your own rating and review of the resort. This will be posted after being approved by OLP.
-) Selecting “Floorplan” in menu will bring up floorplans for rooms at this resort.
-) Selecting “Map” in menu will bring up the map for this resort. PDF viewer is required.
-) Tapping on the photo icon bring up all of the photographs that we have for the resort including brief descriptions. Note: in some cases it may take a few minutes to load all of the pictures for the resort.
-) On the rate calculation page you will be able to ahare the rate you've calculated with a friend.
-) Supports landscape and portrait mode.
-) On most devices you can use pinch gestures to zoom images, maps, floorplans and reviews.
-) Does not include room rates for Swan and Dolphin resorts.
-) User reviews and pictures are updated on a regular basis so you will see the latest.
