This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing RainRobot on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

Works, but has some issues. 1) Length of time setting doesn't really work at all (GUI broken) 2) Can't set a fixed time to water or skip, start time is based on when you set it up the first time 3) No log of when it has watered. Did it skip the last watering? When was the last time it watered?

So far so good. Paired right away, manually controlled on/off exactly as expected. Would like to see days of the week (i.e. Every Monday and Friday) and water at a specific time.
