Station is owned by Sinclair Broadcasting Group, a media conglomerate pushing to be a national source for conservative viewpoints a lá Fox News. Biased local news is dangerous to our democracy and I refuse to support any broadcast news channel that puts their own spin on the stories that they report on. Also, the website published "stories" that are opinion pieces, aka op-eds, and doesn't say they're op-eds, instead presenting them as factual news pieces. A more dishonest practice I've never seen. Shame on SBG for what they're doing. Shame on them for forcing their reporters and on air talent to read prepared statements that bash other media outlets as dishonest, fake or unfair when that is untrue and the statement makes SBG guilty of the very things they accuse everyone else of. Shame on them for playing politics when their job is informing Americans of the facts without inserting their personal opinions.

Other local station app has much more features. Will continue to use the cbs7 app. Tried it again may 16'...freezes up phone and my phone gets very hot, drains battery.......UPDATE So much better!!!!!!. Thought i would try it again since cbs7 weather app was constantly freezing and closing....much happier with this app now. PLEASE DON'T GET THOSE FLASHING ADVERTISEMENTS BACK. THAT IS A DEAL BREAKER.
