Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing SG Transport Alarm on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

I can't even find my stop along the Downtown Line.

Ever wanted to nap on the MRT or bus but couldn't because you were scared you would miss the stop?

Afraid no more, SG Transport Alarm is here to save the day! Whether you are travelling on the bus or MRT, just select the destination you are heading to and let the app take care of reminding you when you are near your stop.

Designed with ease of use in mind, you only need to select your mode of travel (MRT or Bus), select your destination and you are good to go.

App Features:
- Supports all MRT stations and bus stops in Singapore
- Just start typing your destination and let autocomplete help you pin point your destination.
- You can manually look for your destination if you prefer as well.
- Monitor your location as well as the distance remaining while the program is tracking you.
- Can set both vibration and sound as notification
- Ad Free!

Dependencies:
- Notification reliability will be reduced significantly underground due to the lack of GPS signals- use with caution
- For high reliability, please turn on GPS. The program works without GPS by making use of triangulation but accuracy and reliability may be affected.
- Using the manual bus stop search requires internet connection as the bus stop database is not stored in the program
