This used to be an excellent study guide, but unfortunately, it's outdated. This is pre-2015 AHA update. Lots of vasopressin questions which is no longer part of ACLS. I would love to see this app made current again.

Outdated, not even 2015 guidelines

Questions are poorly worded. Not enough information to answer some of them and when a answer is submitted, the same answer one time gives a red X and the exact same answer another time a Green check mark. I haven't found the app practice changing. Actually, from a practical aspect it is fairly useless. Lipid emulsion? Wow, that's digging deep.

There is too much material on vasopressin, which has been removed from the ACLS algorithm. Also, I've not run across material on hypothermia post ROSC, Narcan administration, nor emergent C-section post failed resussitation on the mother. All-in-all though, I think this is a very good refresher or study tool. I just can't give better than 3 stars due to the inaccurate content. As a side note, while some of the questions are poorly worded, so are many of the actual AHA ACLS test questions.

I purchased it thinking to be as per the 2015 Guidelines (clearly mentioned in the icon of the application) ; but unfortunately realised it to be OUTDATED and accordingly WRONG MANUAL and WRONG DESCRIPTION OF DRUGS AND STEPS OF ACLS !
