The app is incredibly laggy. I'm using a Samsung GS6, which can handle most apps with ease. The app keeps locking up, seems to be switching between night and day mode unnecessarily, which could be causing part of the performance issue. Using the app isn't intuitive. I don't know what the three icons on the left side of the map do, so I press one. Apparently I've just let other drivers know there are police nearby. Well there are no police nearby, and I'm unable to remove the notice I've just created. I tried to send a feedback message through the app but it just kept locking up and erasing my entire message (an absolutely infuriating bug btw). The app is too laggy for me to use, and there's not enough information about what each feature does for me to use those features effectively. One star rating because of the performance issues and because giving you feedback through the app itself proved impossible.

Looks good in theory, but it couldn't get a gps lock. The phone had gps lock, I could switch to HERE maps, but Sidekick remained blissfully unaware of any position. Without GPS, the app is pretty much useless.
