Kater connects you with trusted chauffeurs so you don’t have to drive. They will even run errands for you if you need it! At the end of the trip, they’ll bring you back to the location you were picked up from. Here’s how it works:

Request a driver using the app; easily set your pickup time and location.

BIDS
Your request will go out to our partners around your area – who are able to understand your needs for the trip and bid for it accordingly.

CHOOSE
Get the list of chauffeurs interested in your trip and choose the one you like!

COMMUNICATE
Communicate with your driver instantly, through in-app live messaging.

CASHLESS
Sit back, relax, and enjoy your ride! We'll email you a receipt when you arrive at your
destination. Everything is cashless!

EXTEND
Need to extend the hours of your trip? No, problem. Simply open your app and make a request to extend the time.

Our app mechanics have been making some tweaks under the hood. This new release contains improvement on connectivity checks as well as fixing pesky bugs.

App Permissions

Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows an application to record audio.
Allows an application to modify global audio settings.
Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.
This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
