Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing My Release on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.

Beware! This app is not free! It has this "system" you use to be able to generate a pdf of release. Very deceptive as i didnt see anything about fees subscription or the like until downloaded and installed-needless to say I trashed this app immediately.

Ungraded to paid subscription but after filling and saving the pdf you can't access it under the saved files tab. All I could do it see and screenshot it. Found another app that worked better.

Prints Void across any generated releases unless you click on enough ads to earn points every time you use the app.

About this app

My Release is a model release app updated from the older app Model Release X.

What is new in this version?:
• NEW! HTML model release templates. For experienced HTML programmers, you can design and layout your own release with tables, columns and with embedded CSS styles. Using keywords in the document, you can have the app replace the keywords with the form information that was filled out.
• Adjust font size. You can adjust font size to accommodate different screen resolutions and the amount of custom text information.
• Date format selection.
• PDF reader built in the app. You no longer need a 3rd party app to view the PDF.
• Automatically saves information when switching screens so there is no longer a save button except for the signature form. However you still need to save the shoot information and Models contact information for later retrieval before the app is fully closed.


My Release is a professional model release application that eliminates carrying printed model releases. Easy intuitive design to quickly fill out the form and take pictures of ID. The app saves all information as a PDF file and archives it on your device.

Features:
• Import Google Contacts from phone/tablet to automatically fill out form. No need to create a separate database.
• Save models new information to your Google Contacts from the same form the model fills out.
• Take picture of model's identification. Image will be printed on the PDF document with the rest of the model's information.
• Input adult legal age. In some countries or even in some states the legal age can range from 15 years old up to 21 years old. Default is 18 years old.
• If model is a minor when selecting date of birth, the signature page will switch to parent or guardian. Model release PDF will indicate minor.
• You can include witness signature.
• Share PDF file after generating PDF form to an Email, Drive, Dropbox, etc.
• Add company logo to top of model release.
• Add your own custom text file with basic HTML attributes or use the one provided and modify.
• Help section to understand each section of model release including settings.
• The photographer's signature is saved in a system folder only accessible by this app so your signature is safe. When uninstalling this app your signature is also deleted.
• Save and open Shoot Information and Model's Information to access at a later time.
• Open a list of PDF's created from this app and view PDF when file is clicked.
• Included are Property and Photo release PDF creation.
• All release forms are as is. Use the forms as a template for writing your own releases. Please consult with legal counsel.


NOTE: This app is free to download and try it out in demo mode. Demo mode prints a VOID watermark across the PDF document. Purchasing a subscription or purchasing the Premium version using in-app billing will remove the VOID watermark.

As I am not able to test every device out there, try the demo first. If the PDF is saved correctly with no layout issues then you can make an in-app purchase to remove the VOID watermark.




Permissions:
• Contacts- used to retrieve phone contacts and fill the model's information in the contacts section of the app.
• Storage- saves the PDF in the phones main storage. Saves the custom model release form for you to modify using a 3rd party text editor. Use Custom logo from your gallery. Save and open model's information and shoot information.
• Camera- take picture of model's ID.
