I don't have GPS on - out drains battery and is mainly unnecessary. Most apps let you pick a location or use a default. This one fails to start, saying "no valid GPS, bye!"

Seems pretty good, and would be at least 4 stars except the app requires to read phone status and identity. This is an intrusion into my privacy and is not necessary. There are other options (i.e., Solar Hike).

Gives Long/Lat sunrise/set/daylight & moonrise/set/phase. Does what says on can marvellously! GPS critics daft! App needs location 4 accurate timings

Simple but accurate moon and sun information The app has worked without a hitch and is a lesson in simpilicty. I do lots of night photography so the app has and will continue to be valued as an excellent resource. My thanks to the developer.
