Ok, the remote sucks and is expensive to replace (they don't last) . The app would be a great replacement option but it won't stow or deploy your motor. Why would they leave this function out? Useless app without that functionality in my opinion.

I had high Hope's for the app, it did everything it said, but if anything else I was hoping for, was i hoped it had deploy and stow options with it for the Ulterra TM's. I would of gave it a 5 star with at least that.

WORKS BUT FIX THE INSTRUCTIONS! The app works as advertised EXCEPT the instructions are non-existent and I couldn't get it to pair with my Ultrex. After a call to tech support, I was informed that with my Ultrex on, scan for Bluetooth devices and then hold the pairing button down on the iPilot Link head UNTIL I hear the four pairing beeps! This took 15 or 20 seconds it seems and I'm guessing everyone else is also giving up before it decides to pair! As soon as I heard those beeps... All good and was immediately able to control the unit and also update my remote! Just keep holding that pairing button!

Not as good as the clunky remote it came with. I had higher expectations and wants for the app. basically forward and stop, left, right and increase speed. this may be a early attempt on the app if so it should have said beta or early stages. my phone screen is easier to read than factory remote so it would be nice if they overlapped 100% not sure why they don't. You can pair easily by holding the pair button on the motor until seen by device, its not push and go.

Very disappointed. Pretty hefty price for a power drive unit with an inability to connect to it. I installed and uninstalled the app multiple times, no luck. FRUSTRATED. This motor almost instantly connects to the i-pilot controller but wont connect to Android Galaxy Note 8.

This app worked fast. Make sure to get right app ipilot or link. Turn motor on turn on blue tooth,push pair button until you see ipilot or link, in menu click it accept blue tooth link. Enjoy phone app I updated very quickly and have full control of motor.
