Great thermostat, really easily the most gorgeous piece of smart tech in my home, but the app which has always been slow and occasionally required you to re log in now is slow and requires you to log in every time. I enjoyed having a smart thermostat to save me from walking to it to change the temperature but at this point my house isn't big enough to warrant sitting there waiting for the login screen and then waiting for it to load. Pretty sad because it's otherwise great hardware!

App does nothing just comes up to a blue screen Had this issue at first contacted lux and they told me to turn on animations in my settings. Animations have to be set at 1x inorder for the application to function properly. Once animations turn on app works unfortunately the Cortana feature had to be deactivated app doesn't come back up after being placed in the background and I have to re-login every time I open the app. Besides the looks, this thermostat is useless don't waste your money.

Garbage quality app. As many others have pointed out, the app is insanely slow to open and forgets your password all the time. The app has not been updated recently, and at this point seems to be completely abandoned by the developer. Imagine every single time you want to adjust the temperature you have to login and go through a 20+ second pause.

An amazing experience using the thermostat itself, plauged by a God awful app. It doesn't matter which device you use on what platform, it's awful on all of them which is the really unfortunate reality of it. The app takes forever to open (about 20-30 seconds) on my $2,000 Galaxy Fold, the app has crashing issues, and a terrible UI for my Galaxy Tab. Overall I just can't recommend this thermostat right now. I don't write reviews that often, but this needed to be heard. Get a Nest or an Ecobee.

Works great BUT... I work from Tuesday through Saturday, not by choice. I try to be energy/cist conscious and thought the thermostat would be perfect to help make it happen. It seems to accept my wake-sleep schedules but after I add an away period for Saturday, Mon my sleep-in day is set to a workday time. Or if I change it back to allow me to wake up later, the app changes all of my cloned Tues-Sat 'away' settings to a 10hr M-F sched and removes the weekend setting.

The app seems to work well. Log in time is reasonable for me. I do need to enter my password most of the time. That should have been fixed by now. No updates from the developer in ages.
