이 앱은 해당 만나이 통일에 대한 계산 및 관련된 정보를 제공합니다.

'만 나이 통일법'이란 6월 28일 시행 예정인 개정안을 말하며나이를 세는 방법이 별도로 마련되어 있는 경우를 제외하고는 앞으로 행정·민사상 나이는 만 나이로 세는 것을 원칙으로 하는 것을 내용으로 합니다.

만 나이 계산은 올해 생일부터는 이번 연도에서 출생 연도를 뺀 나이로, 가령 1993년생은 올해 2023년에서 출생연도를 뺀 30세가 된다. 만약 생일이 지나지 않았다면 여기에 1살을 더 뺀 29세다. 

특히 올해부터 행정기본법과 민법에 만 나이 계산 및 표시 원칙이 명시됨에 따라 앞으로 계약서, 법령, 조례 등에서 사용되는 나이는 특별한 규정이 없으면 만 나이로 본다는 점이 명확해진다. 

한편 이번 만 나이 통일법으로 인해 연금 수급 시기나 정년 등이 달라지는가에 대한 문의가 있는데, 한 마디로 ‘달라지는 것’은 없다. 

이는 만 나이 통일법 시행 전에도 법령상 나이는 특별한 규정이 없으면 만 나이로 계산했기에 만 나이 통일법 시행으로 연금 수급 시기나 정년 등이 변경되는 것은 아니기 때문이다.
