About this app

Find names based on similarities: This app uses a unique algorithm that can find names close to the ones you like. The algorithm takes everything into account: origin, meaning, pronunciation, popularity and more, so you can find the best name!

Start by entering a name you like. It can be anything, it's just a starting point. The AI algorithm will populate the list with the names it selected. When you see a name you like, add it to your favorites (heart icon) and continue with that name using the arrow icon.
When you have enough favorites, have a look at the list of recommended names. The AI gathers and ranks names based on your favorites. The more favorites you have, the better the recommendations are.

Most applications give you option to filter by origin, gender or starting letter: this is a non natural process for finding names. Think of it: when you brainstorm for names with a friend, you just start with a name you like, then iterate from that: "How about Aidan or Kaden?". Behind the scene, your brain uses much more criteria, such as similarity, number of letters, popularity and more on top of the usual gender, origin and letters.

Tip: The horizontal bar under the names is the "confidence" bar. This is how much the AI thinks the name matches the original name.

Features:
- More than 24,000 names with origin, pronunciation and popularity.
- Favorites.
- Recommended names based on favorites.
- Light and Dark theme.
- Works offline (No internet connection needed).
Note:
It is possible to search by starting letter. It's even possible to set the number of letters: Just add * at the end of the word.

example: ma***
-> Mason
-> Maia
-> Malia
-> Mateo
....
