Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing MyTrackingOnline on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. About this app

Real time GPS tracking. The phone sends GPS reports to the map server where the tracks can be viewed on various maps including Bing, Google, MapQuest, and mobile maps. The software can upload photos to the server and the images will appear on the map near the GPS track where the photo was taken. If coverage is lost, the software will store the tracks and upload them when reconnected. Geofences, multiple accounts on the same map, and many other features are supported. Runs in the background and continues to update the map server even when the phone is locked or "sleeping". The audio of the phone running ATracker can be monitored remotely (check local laws before using this feature).

The waypoint system is great for geoCaching.

Added a panic button. Press an hold for 2-3 seconds and it will send an SOS to the server. The server will then send email or SMS alerts to the destinations stored on the server. The button can be disabled in the config menu.
