Person on customerservice line was pleasant and really tried to help get app connected. But nothing worked. I pretty well gave up. HERE IS TIP FOR THOSE STILL HAVING TROUBLE: Though I allowed the app access to control GPS location on phone, the GPS was off and the app never did successfully turn it on. On a hunch, I turned on GPS manually, relaunched the app and everything worked simply and easily. I'll call customer service with the tip tomorrow. Android Samsung Galaxy S9 user.

When it connects it works great. It constantly loses connection to WiFi despite it being less than 25 feet from my router and my phone being on the same network with full service. Bluetooth does not work more than 30 feet away. Would be great to have some recipes added like some other grill apps.

I absolutely does not work at all with flagship models like Samsung galaxy s10. My wife's note works with it fine. I will gladly change my review if support is added. Bluetooth list is perpetually empty on my phone and I cannot connect the grill is awesome though

App does not keep in sync with grill unit for longer than 10-15 minutes. Ie: timer reached zero on grill and app was still showing 5 minutes. App will not stay connected via Bluetooth and after making a connection via wifi the app will no longer connect net work failure keeps coming up.

Make sure you turn off battery optimization or it will kill the app. Works great, love the app. Maybe a little modern look wouldn't hurt but works great.
